Sage Intacct Construction 2025 Release 2 Highlights
We’re excited to walk you through the latest enhancements in the Sage Intacct Construction 2025 Release 2, all designed to streamline your daily operations and boost efficiency. Join Alta Vista Technology’s Solutions Architect, Monica DeLisle, as she highlights the key improvements.
See the Full Picture in Purchasing
Just like the familiar Billing Details tab in project contracts, the new Primary Document Details tab in Purchasing provides a centralized view of crucial information. Now you can easily see invoiced amounts, payments, and retainage for your purchasing documents, enabling quick review and modification without navigating multiple screens. Do note that you won’t see these new fields in printed documents or custom reports just yet – that’s coming in a future release.
Secondary Vendor Lien Waiver Automation
Managing lien waivers for a secondary vendor is a breeze. You can automatically generate these directly within your AP bill and payment processes. Granular control with these options include:
- Generate additional invoice lien waivers: Automatically create an identical lien waiver for the secondary vendor when you generate one for the primary vendor on an AP bill.
- Generate additional payment lien waivers: Choose from “Do not generate,” “Generate for all payments” (use with caution if you have a high volume), or “Generate for joint payments only.”
This automation, driven by your existing compliance definitions, streamlines the process for your secondary vendors, helping ensure you stay compliant without manual intervention.
Smarter Compliance with Automated Rules
Take control of your compliance management with Smart Rules and Events for Compliance Records. This enhancement allows you to create automated workflows and actions, ensuring compliance requirements are consistently and efficiently met. Please note that rules for pre-existing records will activate upon opening or editing.
Gain Deeper Insights with WIP History
Understanding your project performance is key, and this release delivers a powerful new tool: WIP History. Think of it as a dedicated page that gathers data from all your familiar WIP Schedules, allowing you to easily spot historical trends and create customized sets of data specifically for your analysis.
What’s more, the WIP History page is now your central hub for exporting WIP data, featuring an improved export process. To reflect this change, we’ve also renamed the old “WIP Management” page to simply “WIP Schedules”, and you’ll no longer export data from there.
Now you have a dedicated space to analyze historical WIP data and a streamlined process for exporting it – all in one place.
Sage Intacct Construction Payroll
Finally, payroll processing is now more seamless than ever.
- Timesheet to Payroll Integration: Approved timesheets now flow directly into Construction Payroll, streamlining your payroll processing significantly.
- More Informative Check Stubs: Provide your employees with the clarity they need. Check stubs now include:
- Year-to-date amounts for all employee taxes.
- Pre-tax and post-tax 401k amounts shown separately, along with the employer address.
- Improved Employee Data Consistency: Accessing employee information across both the Time and Payroll modules is now more consistent and easier, eliminating the need to switch between systems for key data.
- Payroll Setup Tables in Reporting: For advanced reporting, the Construction Payroll setup tables are now available in the Custom Report Writer and Interactive Custom Report Writer, giving you greater flexibility.
