Sage Intacct 2025 Release 2 Highlights
Sage Intacct 2025 Release 2 is here! Packed with updates designed to streamline your workflows and enhance your financial management. Last week, our Solutions Architect – Monica Delisle, highlighted the noteworthy features in a live webinar. Here’s the recap:
Reclassify Credit Card Transaction with Ease
No more headaches when your credit card transactions are miscategorized. The new reclassification feature lets you easily change the account for these transactions, directly within Credit Card Transactions. Note: This doesn’t apply to transactions from AP payments or employee expense reports. Note: Enable this in Cash Management Configuration.
Joint Checks Processing for Everyone
Previously limited to construction, the joint check feature is now available across all industries! After saving the bills, the new Joint Payees tab allows you to add and manage joint payees, you can specify how the payment is divided between the vendor and the payees. Note: Enable in Accounts Payable Configuration.
New Dimension for Inter-Company Accounting
If you have a Consolidation subscription (Domestic, Global, or Advanced), the new “affiliate entity” dimension automatically tags intercompany transactions, simplifying GL account management. Note: Enable this in Multi-Entity Management configuration.
Allocations in Sage Intelligent Time
For organizations with shared employees across multiple projects or grants, you can now use transaction allocation codes during time entry to automatically distribute time. This saves time, ensures consistent cost tracking, and improves reporting accuracy. You might have also noticed that Time and Expense now have their own dedicated areas. Note that the Time and Expense module has been separated into two distinct modules.
Improved Contract Visibility
Get a complete overview of your contracts with the new Contract Summary tab, which replaces the Billing transaction history tab. This tab consolidates key transaction details from various areas like Order Entry and Accounts Payable, along with related project insights, eliminating the need to switch between screens. This provides stakeholders with improved visibility to quickly grasp a contract’s financial standing.

For our clients in Construction and Real Estate, the 2025 Release 2 brings usability enhancements to increase visibility, efficiency and accuracy.
