Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Mainstream Support

For those of you still on Dynamics GP 2010, you may want to consider upgrading soon as mainstream support will end on October 13 of this year.  Its important to upgrade to a supported version to continue receiving tax table updates and year end updates.

When Microsoft releases a new version of its Microsoft Dynamics GP product, the product is in mainstream support the first five years from its release date.

As of October 13, 2015, Microsoft will provide extended support, which will only provide break-fix support. No hot fixes, service packs, or year end and payroll updates are released for products in extended support mode. To qualify for extended support, the latest service pack must be installed. For Dynamics GP 2010, that means you will need to be on Service Pack 4.
