The challenge

With rapid growth, from two communities to 32 in just a few years, Cambio’s finance team faced a major challenge: scaling accounts payable. Each property brought a flood of invoices, totaling more than 100 per day and 1,500 per month. Manual invoice entry, payment processing, and contractor management threatened to slow growth, strain vendor relationships, and overburden staff. 

The solution

Cambio turned to Sage Intacct, a complete financial management platform with AI-powered accounts payable (AP) automation, built directly into the financial management platform they already rely on. By streamlining invoice capture, approvals, and payments, the team eliminated manual intervention, reduced bottlenecks, and gained the ability to process invoices quickly, accurately, and at scale. Today, Cambio processes nearly 3,500 invoices per month, more than double their starting volume, without requiring a larger AP team.
